As the Lay Leader of Halifax United Methodist Church, I welcome you to join us for our service and fellowship with one another. Halifax UMC has a passionate worship service where love, grace, acceptance, forgiveness, and peace are proclaimed in the name of Jesus. We'll make you feel right at home.

Our worship from Labor Day in September to Memorial Day in May is traditional, while our worship during the summer is informal. Our informal worship reflects a special time in Methodist history as we have "Camp Meeting" style worship. Both services offer hymns, our choir, scripture lessons, an offering, a sermon, a children's message, a powerful time of prayer, and a chance to affirm our faith.

We also offer special services for Holy Week (Maundy Thursday and Good Friday), Easter (Sunrise and 10:30 am), Thanksgiving (Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving), Advent, and Christmas Eve.

We have ministry opportunities for every member of your family. We would love to have you and your family worship with us. All people are welcome and we would be honored for you to join our church family.
